'Kodak' moments with Josiah

Dearest Josiah,

This evening, daddy hid in one corner of your room and observed you playing by yourself. You were so focused in picking up alphabet cubes with your clumsy little fingers and putting them right into your mouth. You caught daddy looking at you; gave me a cheeky smile and went back to your toys. I whispered to mummy "how I wish you remain this way forever" but of course you will grow up to be a fine young man!!

I think I have begin to understand fatherhood in a whole new level today. I begin to understand Father God even more. I understood why God wants an eternal relationship with us. Every moment are "Kodak moments" that can never be erase from our memory. The frustration, cries, laughter, smile, baby talks, little finger touch, army crawls, your attempt to imitate us "ha"; your abilities to learn new tricks like waving are all "Kodak moments" that daddy and mummy will never forget. Each time we see you attempting something new and achieving it. There is an unspeakable joy in our hearts. Daddy don't want to miss the opportunity to see you grow up. Daddy and Mummy promise that we will do our best to be with you in every phase of your growing up journey. Its too precious to miss. How long more can daddy have the chance to change your diapers, bath you in your small tubby, feed you through your bottles? Daddy will treasure these moments...

Josiah, Daddy and Mummy love you.
