Baby Josiah 30th Week

Dear Josiah,

Daddy has not been writing to you for quite a while but I am sure you are having a great time "playing" with Daddy and Mummy. I was so fascinated last night when I saw you moving vigorously in mummy's womb whenever I called your name. Daddy has also been busy setting up your room with Auntie Carol, auntie Wen Shan and many other uncles and aunties who came to help daddy and mummy. Uncles and Aunties took a lot of effort to do up the room for you. We painted many cute animals and the whole picture is a replica of "Noah Ark" , that is a nice bible story daddy will read to you when you are born. Auntie Carol drew the sharks that look like they are smiling; the zebras and the chubby Koalas were very cute too. When you grow up, you got to say a big thank you to them for making your room so beautiful!

Daddy also read a book "playing with your new born". The more I read, the more I look forward to your arrival. Daddy and Mummy bought you some nice Disney clothes and bath set. Auntie Yah Lan also bought you a nice bath tub for you to "swim" in haha... So many people are doting you already even before your arrival, I am sure you will be a very blessed boy!

Recently, I read a verse from Psa 127:3 and it says “Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. I thank God that He has given you to our lives. Indeed, a very precious reward!!

71 more days to go and Daddy and Mummy's hearts are filled with anticipation to receive this reward from God. Grow well and Grow strong darling!

Baby Josiah 25th Week

Dear Josiah,

Daddy and Mummy attended our ever first Antenatal class to learn about you last Thursday. It was so exciting to see so many parents gathering together to learn how to take care of their little ones when they are born. The class teacher was very professional and experience as she shared with us many things. She made me put on a funny ' belly suit' that will allow me to experience how mummy feels when she carry you. Now I know it's certainly a big, big sacrifice and hard work for mummy and not to mention the other effects of pregnancy. When you grow up, please really treasure and love mummy k!

The teacher taught me the steps to communicate with you by gently massaging Mummy's belly. 4 very easy steps and you will respond to me. It was an awesome experience and I kept doing it when we were back home. You won't believe how I must have felt as you responded to my touch each time. Josiah, it's only 3 more months and the threesome family life starts in this house. Daddy, mummy and Josiah.

Baby Josiah 22nd week

Hi Baby Josiah ,

Daddy is so happy today because my cell group members wrote me a "song" for thanksgiving. I will get them to sing for you when you are born, they are such good singers and song writers too....haha

We met doctor Tan for the results of your detailed scan and we are so happy that you are developing so well just that you are a little "overweight". Doctor Tan say that most likely you are gaining weight because you are like "daddy"...I was a little embarrassed though. No worries, when you are ready, daddy will go "Jian Fei" with you. We will play badminton and swim together... Mummy told me that you like to eat chocolate, I was wondering how she know since you haven't really try before then I realised it was her excuse to eat more..I will confiscate all the chocolates in the fridge because you are putting on weight. When we saw you in the scan again, your face was facing us...do you know daddy and mummy were looking at you.

Daddy is going to bring mummy and baby Josiah for a trip to Hong Kong this Monday. We will visit Disneyland together. I know that you still can't see Mickey or Minnie but daddy and mummy will take a lot of photos for you. Enjoy your holiday with us...

BabyPok 20th Week

Hi Baby Josiah,

Daddy is writing to you from the airport as I am waiting for my flight to China again. So happy to be able to see you in great "detail" this afternoon. I was almost moved to tears as I see your little toes wriggling, your little fingers moving and your jaws were moving too... Are you singing to daddy and mummy already??? We were so happy to know that you are a boy. Grandpa and grandma are all happy too. We can start decorating your room soon. What will you like your room be? Don't worry, I will make sure that it's will be a cosy, warm and a loving room where daddy and mummy will read stories for you every night before you sleep.

Daddy and Mummy decided to name you Josiah which means "Jehovah Helps". You will be a baby that will lean on the anointing and power of God. Josiah will reign like a king and love God with all his heart. Josiah, we know that when you grow up, you will live up to your name and show people who our God is. Indeed our God helps...

Waiting for the day that I can hold your little hands, wearing the same t shirt, style the same hair (like daddy's spiky hair) going out to play. I am sure we will be more that just father and son, we will be the best buddies! I got so much to teach and show you..

Josiah, please let mummy know that you love her to but giving her a gentle nudge everyday. I will be back 4 days later and then we will see each other once again!! Josiah, you are the King! You have been crowned the goodness and mercy of the Lord! Grow strong baby...

BabyPok 19th Week

Just finishing watching "Birthday" on SCV and witness a few babies coming to this world. BabyPok, your day is soon approaching...147 more days. This week, mummy felt your movements for the very first time! Feels like bubbles, fluttering...can't describe the feeling. Are you already wanting to let us know your presence? Mummy asked daddy to place my hand on her stomach and wait for you to move. I just felt u touching my palm! The feeling was indescribable, was that a high "5" from you to daddy?

BabyPok, Daddy and Mummy are now in the midst of designing your bedroom and buying all the best things we can afford for you. We looked at the little t shirts and pants. And we just can't help imagining you wearing those soft clothing and cuddling you in our arms. Daddy is also looking for a nice "sport car" for you. When you are born, we can go out together with your "car".

Dec 17, we will see you again through a detail scan! Meanwhile, enjoy growing and make sure you let mummy know that you love her by giving her a gentle nudge each day!!!

BabyPok 6th Scan (17th Week)

Hi BabyPok,

Daddy and Mummy went to doctor Tan for your routine check up and scan. We have been discussing about the outcome of this scan for many days..will you be a boy or girl? Even as we make our way there this morning, our hearts were beating with anticipantion. Mummy showed me a list of things that we can start buying when we know your gender. What colour would you like to have for your cot, your room, you blanky and your pillow?

When you finally came on the screen this morning, my heart almost froze...you have grown so much darling...We saw your well-grown spine, hands, legs and head there was even skin and fats forming on your limbs. You weight about 200 grams now. Did you know that daddy and mummy were looking at you or were you as excited as us? Through out the scan you were jumping, stretching and moving around mummy's womb. You look liked a really happy baby!

We tried to "spot" your gender but you were not in the "right" position for us to see... Doctor Tan had to get you to face us by pressing mummy's womb many times. and for a split second we saw something little"bulging" out...hee hee. Welcome to our world BabyPok. We are thinking of your name now. Marcus? Josiah? Joshua? ...Which one do you like?

Mummy says that I can bring you for swimming when you are ready to learn but I guessed you are now already swimming like a CHAMPION in mummy's womb. 加油宝宝，你会是个可爱，聪明的宝宝！！
